Increased interest and community involvement in fire protection
has created an ideal opportunity for homeowners and community officials
to participate in planning and implementing fire protection and fire
mitigation procedures in local neighborhoods.
This had led to increasing and timely availability of subsidized funding (Grants for Goats) for projects using goats for fire mitigation and
vegetation management. Homeowners Associations (HOA’s) have unique requirements, relative to their size, population, density, proximity to urban areas, as well as many overarching internal political and decision making structures and regulations that govern the activities and procedures of HOA’s. LSLM specializes in Open Space and Fuel Management for HOA’s, providing service for multiple HOA’s in California: including major developments in Santa Clara, Sonoma, Contra Costa and Santa Cruz Counties. LSLM provides the most comprehensive and customized service for communities within the Urban/Wildland Intermix. We work closely with HOA board members, property management companies and local fire authorities, providing high quality vegetation management of HOA open space.
