Community

Community Outreach programs are no-cost programs offered to communities with interest in developing sustainable and affordable solutions for ongoing management of:

-community open space and recreation areas

-fire breaks

-wild-land intermix zones

-weeds and invasive plants

-community agricultural lands

Outreach programs are conducted by LSLM staff and Resource Managers, addressing specific community issues as they relate to community held assets and resource environments. Presentations are multi-media based, and typically run forty-five minutes, followed by a brief question and answer period.

Our programs are designed to present contemporary and relevant information clearly and realistically, providing a comprehensive picture of community based resource management, that is accessible and useful.
